Welcome to the Appalachian Chapter of Trout Unlimited’s web site. Our chapter, based in Chattanooga, TN, focuses on conservation projects in the Tellico River watershed and conservation education.
In cooperation with the National Forest Service, TWRA, and TU, an annual Brook Trout survey is held in August of each year to verify the health and habitat of streams. Additionally, our chapter participates in the the Tellico River and Hiwassee River annual cleanup events.

Our chapter meetings are generally held the third Thursday of the month at 6:00 PM at the The VFW Post # 4848 at 2402 Amnicola Highway
